you  knew  this  would  happen  eventually  .  this  place  was  only  so  big  ,  it  was  only  a  matter  of  time  before  paths  cross  again .  older  now ,  the  tests  of  time  having  touched  him  more  than  her  .  the  smell  of  running  clings  to  the  leather  on  his  shoulders  it’s  the  first  thing  he  thinks  about  doing  –  but  he’s  already  made  a  breakfast  order  .  two  coffees  ,  two  everything  bagels  .   this  was  normalcy  now  .   so  ,  you  clear  your  throat  step  up  beside  her  to  wait;  eyes  trained  on  the  counter  ,  hands  in  your  pockets  .   ❛   small  world  ,  huh     ❜
